Good morning gamers! Hope you had a great weekend. I apologize again for not being there to help you with your work today but I'm sure you'll be fine without me though. While I'm out today, you can continue to plow ahead with your logos. If it is draw as a rough and colored, scan it. Once scanned, vector it in Ai. If vectored, color it and touch it up. I have linked a video just below to explain touching up your vector. I'm sure that there are some areas that could be touched up a bit, and the video will explain how. If the logo has been completed and touched up, upload it to Schoology and be done with it!
Then what? Well, next we will get into your first real game. What game? Breakout, a one player version of Pong that was created by the famous Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Click on this link to give it a play as an Easter Egg on Google. Obviously the link isn't really breakout, but it's a good look at the game play that you will be creating. I have made a video and linked it below to describe what I'm expecting from you. Watch it before you begin create sprites or designs. If you have questions or concerns, email me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can; before tomorrow's class for sure! Hope you have a great day!

Good morning everyone. Hope your having a great day so far today and that you had a exceptional weekend too! I apologize again that I am not at school with you guys today. Not to worry though, I have made some videos to walk you through everything that you'll be doing so that even if I'm not there, you can still get help. It's even better because you can pause and repeat it! The first link describes the process of touching up a vector in areas that aren't as great as they could be. Watch it and then try to use the same technique to edit your vector. The next link has two videos to describe how to color your vector and add registration marks. These are things that you can do after you have completed your vector.
As we talked about on Friday, we will be making a notebook for this class. If you would like more detail about the notebook, you can click on this link for some added details. This won't be due until the very end of the course, but if you have nothing more to do for your screen printing project, now is a good time to get started on it. You can definitely start to build the divider for the vector section of the notebook. The third link below will explain how to use a bunch of the other features that Illustrator has. It was made to be used for another project, but it works perfectly for the dividers for your notebook too. Check it out and try these things for your divider. That's all that I have for you today. Hope you have a fantastic day!
