Sublimation
- Layout a document to the size of your product but with a .25” bleed
- Create graphics & Design
- Test print the design on the 419 printer
- Reflect the design & save it to Creative Cloud
- Log into the desktop & print to Sawgrass at low speed
- Watch the video for your product and record time, temp & other details
- Setup up the print on the product with heat tape
- Press the Design
- Save as an Ai file and upload to Schoology
- Place thumbnails, rough, comp & product into din

- Draw 4 thumbnails
- Make a rough of the best one
- Vector the logo
- Take pictures of the product/vector the product
- Put everything together in a document with bleed
- Save as an Ai file and upload to Schoology
- Place thumbnails, rough, comp & product into bin
Gum Packaging
- Choose a type or gum and flavor
- Draw a set of 4 thumbnails
- Layout the document in Illustrator
- Create a rough
- Create all of the graphics and text for the packaging
- Print the document
- Cut and score the document
- Fold and glue everything together
- Upload a PDF of the document to Schoology
- Turn in the packaging, thumbnails and rough to the bin

Lens Flare Background
- Follow the steps on the handout to make a flare brush
- Make a new document 11” x 17” & 300 ppi
- Use the brush to make the design
- Upload the document as a PSD to Schoology
Calendar
- Change the month & dates to fit each month
- Crop, resize & place photos for the month pages
- Add any other touches to month pages
- Place in the cover design (possibly using the lens flare) on page 1
- Place the collage on page 14
- Export the calendar
- Make a proof sheet & print it
- Adjust colors, errors as seen on proof
- Export the calendar as a Print PDF
- Upload PDF to Schoology
- Turn in physical copy of thumbnails, rough, & proof to bin
Straightening a Crooked Photo
- Open a photo in which the entire photo or an object are askew
- Use the ruler tool to draw a line
- Choose Image>Image Rotation Arbitrary to rotate based on the line
- Crop off the empty space
- Crop and resize the photos accordingly
- Upload the before and after to Schoology
Collage
- Open the calendar in InDesign
- On page 14, draw a box the size of the collage you would like to make
- Make a new document in Photoshop the same size as the box in InDesign
- In the properties panel in InDesign there is a W & H
- The W & H would be the W & H you will use for the new Photoshop Doc
- Set the resolution to 300
- Make the background contents transparent
- Open each photo separately in Ps
- Use the rectangular marquee tool to select the photo & then copy it
- Paste it into the new Photoshop Document & rescale it (Ctrl T)
- Repeat for the next photo, making sure they overlap
- Set the erase to a soft edge, somewhat opaque percentage & erase the edges
- Save the collage as a PSD
White Balance
- Open one of your white balance photos from a few weeks ago
- Use one of the 4 methods to correct the color to what it should naturally be
- Save and upload the before and after to Schoology
