- Crop, resize & place photos for the month pages
- Add any other touches to month pages
- Place in the cover design (possibly using the lens flare) on page 1
- Place the collage on page 14
- Export the calendar
- Make a proof sheet & print it
- Adjust colors, errors as seen on proof
- Export the calendar as a Print PDF
- Upload PDF to Schoology
- Turn in physical copy of thumbnails, rough, & proof to bin

Vinyl Jacket
- Choose a band/artist and album
- Brainstorm ideas for graphics & photos
- Draw thumbnails for the cover & back
- Layout the framework in Illustrator
- Print the layout & draw rough into it
- Vector image(s)
- Take your photo of the product
- Simple background & strong lighting
- Try different angles & take extra shots
- Compose your type in Illustrator
- Add graphic(s) & photo to Illustrator file
- Print & Trim the file
- Score and glue the jacket together
- Export the file as a Print PDF & upload it to Schoology
Logo
- Choose a symbol to go with your artists name
- Draw 4 thumbnails around that idea
- Choose the best thumbnail and develop it into a rough
- Color the rough with colored pencils
- Take a pic of the logo and upload it to Drive, then Download it on the Laptop
- Create an Ai file, place pic, lock layer
- Create new layer and vector each piece on it
- Color the image
- Save the image an Ai file
- Export the image as a PNG (File>Export)
Cutout
- Find a Hi-Res photo of your artist
- Make a selection with any of the tools introduced in class
- Cleanup the selection with Quick Mask Mode
- Cut the selection from the web photo
- Make a new doc that is clipboard sized, transparent background
- Paste the cutout into the new doc
- Save it as a PNG file
Decal
- Layout the decal template
- Label one side A Side
- Add Your logo
- Include the name of the album
- Make an attractive design to fill the space
- Label one side B Side
- Add your cutout
- Include the name of the album
- Make an attractive design to fill the space
- Remove stroke on inner circle
- Export the file as a PNG
- Email me the files
- Punch the centers out with hammer, pinch, & woodblocks
- Feed dowel pin through vinyl hole
- Remove the sticker from backing
- Use the punched hole and dowel pin to center the decal, then press against vinyl
- Repeat for the other side
