Notepad
- Choose a theme for your notepad
- Grab a sheet of paper & fold in half twice
- Draw a design in each square using the same theme
- Choose the best design & make a rough
- Vector the image in it’s own Ai file
- Layout a comprehensive using the rough template from Ai
- Make a 4-Up
- Print a proof sheet
- Choose 25 sheets of paper
- Place the paper in tray 1 of printer, tell others NOT to print
- Send the job to the 419-C1 printer
- Collect & jog prints
- Cut prints apart
- Cut cardboard (mat board) for backing
- Make a mount for one print
- Pad the notepad
- Trim the edges
- Tuck thumbnails, rough, comp, mount & rubric into pad
- Turn in to bin
Screen Print
- Choose a name or image for a company
- Brainstorm and draw 4 thumbnails
- Choose your favorite thumbnail
- Develop that design into a large, clean, colored rough
- Obtain, label, & degrease a screen
- Coat the screen
- Convert the vector to black & white, email to Mr. Tate
- Expose the screen
- Wash out the screen with a cone spray of water
- Patch Pinholes
- Block out the screen
- Cut paper to print on*
- Cut out the comprehensive, center it on cut paper, tape in place
- Print the design
- Reclaim the screen
- Mat the best print*
- Paperclip thumb, rough, comp, 2 prints, matted & rubric

Fabric Screen Print
- Choose an idea for the screen print
- Vector the image
- Scale the graphic to size (max 8”x 10.5”)
- Change one color to black, other to white
- Email me the file so I can create a positive
- Degrease screen & coat the screen
- Expose screen
- Washout screen
- Patch pinholes
- Cut paper to print on
- Blockout screen
- Print the first color
- Print the print accordingly
- Re-block the screen
- Print the second color
- Print the print accordingly
- Reclaim the screen
- Place thumb, rough, comp & print in bin
Sublimation
- Layout a document to the size of your product but with a .25” bleed
- Create graphics & Design
- Test print the design on the 419 printer
- Reflect the design & save it to Creative Cloud
- Log into the desktop & print to Sawgrass at low speed
- Watch the video for your product and record time, temp & other details
- Setup up the print on the product with heat tape
- Press the Design
- Save as an Ai file and upload to Schoology
- Place thumbnails, rough, comp & product into din

Period 5
What are we learning today?

2. Objectives to Accomplish Today:
Sequence Photo
- Take a set of at least 6 action photos
- Import the photos to the PC
- Use Bridge to stack the photos
- Correct the layer masks to make the correct image visible
- Save the completed image and upload it to Schoology
- Upload the final results to Schoology
Panorama
- Take a series of shots that pan and overlap by at least 25%
- Import the photos to the computer
- Use Bridge to prepare them
- Stitch them together in Photoshop
- Crop and rotate the results as necessary
- Upload the resulting image to Schoology
Black & White Photos
- Compose 10 shots geared around shadow
- Use Camera Grayscale for one & shoot a second in color for each
- Use Photoshop to edit the color shots so they are grayscale
- Upload all 20 shots to schoology
Project Nova
- Brainstorm classic albums
- Choose a classic album to add her to
- Make sure the album hasn't been taken already
- Determine direction & angle for the shot (you get one shooting day)
- Take the shots
- Make a cutout of Nova
- Adjust the color temperature
- Add the cutout to the alum
- Save the file as both PNG & PSD, Upload to Schoology
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
- Choose a High Contrast portrait of you
- Choose 4 words that describe you
- Follow the steps to make brushes of 4 words
- Make midtones gray, shadows black
- Spray in words
- Add color if desired
- Save and upload to Schoology
