Good morning everyone. Happy hump day! Hope it's been a good one so far. I'm not planning to mess it up by having you read or watch a video for my class! Today is just another work day for you to use to catch up back work or take those white balance photos that are due tomorrow. The last assignment for the class is to take some bohke shots. What are bohke shots? This site has some great examples! You don't have to read the info, but check out the shots. How do you do this? Take a look at the setting highlighted in yellow above. It's labeled as manual focus because aperture sets the area around which you focus. This is a really popular shooting style. I think you'll really like using this. I would like you to take 10 photos with a focused foreground and blurry background. A lot of times photographers will use this in shots of flowers, insects, and small things. Give it a try! It's not due until next Tuesday, but I'm giving you plenty of time to take the pictures and experiment. This is your last assignment!
Period 4
Hello all. Hope your having a great Wednesday. Yesterday I gave you a bunch of links to check out in preparation of our night photos. Today I am giving you more time to read or complete old assignments that you are behind on. Nothing new today, just plenty of time to get caught up and plan for your night photos. Have a great day!
Period 5
Good afternoon everyone. Hope your day has been great so far. The last few days we have focused on the picture of the product that your trying to sell. We took the photo, learned to upload it to Drive and make a selection of the photo. By now, hopefully you have turned the selection into a cutout. If so, that's all that you need to do with it for now. The next thing to do is vector the logo. The Mountain Dew logo if your selling Mountain Dew, the Cheeto's logo if your selling Cheeto's, whatever the product is, use Gravit and vector out the logo to go on your ad. Everyone's product should have a logo, even if it's just a unique type like Samsung's name without the line in the A.
