Good morning photographers. By now you know that I'm out today. I have a mild concussion and five stitches. I'll explain tomorrow when I return. Today I would like you to watch the two videos below. We're going to design your own logo to represent you as a photographer so please watch them. I'm trusting you to do the right thing and watch them without me making you complete a note sheet or answering follow up questions on them! Once you've watched both of the videos, you can use the remaining time to complete your Ill Dog. Take your time, zoom in and line it up as best as you can. The better the match, the better the grade! Remember, there's a handout and a video that will help you to better understand how to make the dog. Tomorrow we'll move on to the next assignment so use the time that you have. Have a great day!

- Create new layer, lock the first

- Be as precise as possible in shape, size & color
- Save the images as an Ai file
- Upload the final image to Schoology

- Create a new layer, lock the first
- Change the fill to none, stroke to bright color
- Zoom in (Ctrl +) on the inner ear
- Draw the three lines to make the shape
- Select and color the inner ear
- Draw the white silhouette of the head
- Color it and send it to the back
- Draw the blue oval with cutout
- Color the shape
- Draw the final white outer oval & color it
- Upload the final image to Schoology

- Choose a High Contrast portrait of you
- Choose 4 words that describe you
- Follow the steps to make brushes of 4 words
- Make midtones gray, shadows black

- Open a photo that you would like top frame with a worn edge
- Follow the steps to make a selection and turn it into a frame
- Upload the final results to Schoology
Tips Book
- Brainstorm & research 8 tips & techniques important to you
- Write what you want to say about each tip
- Consider how you want stage each photo
- Draw thumbnails for your layout
- Develop the best thumbnail into a full size (8.5" x 5.5") rough
- Create the rough on the A-Parent in InDesign
- Release the page elements on each page by Ctrl Shift clicking on each individual item
- Add text & photos for each tip
- Print the pages
- Cut prints down to size
- Comb bind the pages
- Turn in the book & exported Adobe PDF (Print) on Schoology
