Good morning everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! Today in class I would like you to continue to work on your screen printing project. I showed you how to expose and wash out a screen last week. I strongly encourage you to watch the videos on each as a refresher before you try doing it on your own. I know that I wouldn't necessarily remember everything from last week, let along the little details! Today I have linked a new step just below; how to patch pinholes. When you wash out a screen there will inevitably some tiny little holes in the emulsion. The first link below will show you how to repair these areas of the screen. That's all I have for you for today. Let me know if you have any questions. I can't say that I'll get back to you immediately but I will respond to you before class tomorrow. Have a great day!

Hello there everyone. Hope you had a nice, long holiday weekend. Today I have a new assignment for you. The link below will take you to a page on the site where you will find the starting file. Much like the Illustrator Dog project, start by downloading the file from the page and open it in Illustrator. On that file, I would like you to use Illustrator to create your own version of the type to match mine. There is a video on the page that will explain how to do everything. I strongly recommend watching a little, pausing it, and then doing what I just showed you in the video. Then watch a bit more, pause it and do a little more. It should be pretty simple if you use the video. That's all I have for you for today. Let me know if you have any questions. I can't say that I'll get back to you immediately but I will respond to you before class tomorrow. Have a great day!

Period 4
Good morning everyone. Hope you had a great, long weekend and are ready for a week without having to go to Meet's with me! As I said last week, no Meet's this week, but I will be posting here on the blog each day. For today I have quite a few little exposure adjustments linked below. I have two spot exposure touch ups and two global exposure touch ups for you. What's the difference? Global changes the entire photo where spot fixes just a small area within the photo. I also linked to the Lens Blur assignment from last week. It's due today so make that your top priority. Once that's done, then you can do the four small exposure adjustments. These are not due until tomorrow. Finally, there is a new project that you can start next, this is the Lens Flare Background. Here you'll just use Photoshop as a drawing tool to make a unique background. This will take a little more time to do that the others. Take a look at the final link and you'll see some examples and the directions too. That's it for today. Let me know if you have any questions. I can't say that I'll get back to you immediately but I will respond to you before class tomorrow. Have a great day!
