Good morning everyone. Hope you're having a great day so far. Today is simply a work day. If the notepad is done, you rock! Turn it in and move on to the screen print. Start by choosing a theme, then draw four thumbnails around that concept. Pick the best one, draw it full size (max of 8 inches by 8 inches) and color it with colored pencils. Remember, the image can only be printed with a single color of ink. You can use a different color paper to make it appear like a two color image. Take a look at the links below if you aren't sure what I'm saying. After the rough, start to create a vector image in Illustrator. Tomorrow I'll show you how to prepare a screen. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning camera geeks! Hope all is well today and that your having a fantastic Hump Day! I know that some of you began the Lomography project in class yesterday, today everyone else should start it. I would recommend using a photo that isn't a portrait as it will typically look better that way but your welcome to use any photo that you have taken... in this class or years ago! What is this project? Your emulating the look of a really crappy Russian film camera. The camera actually became popular for how poorly it would expose the images. The style is much like that of some filters that you may use on your app of choice. Directions are linked below.
If you have your Shift Tilt photos taken, you can also use the link below to make that photo. That's all that I have for you to do today. Have a great day and I'll see you in class Thursday!
What are we learning today?
1. Shift Tilt Directions

- Develop a list of likes/dislikes
- Choose info & categories that should go on your site

Black & White Photos

- Use Camera Grayscale for one & shoot a second in color for each
- Use Photoshop to edit the color shots so they are grayscale
- Upload all 20 shots to Schoology
Lomo
- Find and open a photo to use for the Lomography Project
- Follow the steps to give the photo it’s poor exposure and saturation
- Upload the results to Schoology
