Good morning everyone. Happy Thursday! With me out today for some family stuff, I have links for today's tasks linked below. So what would I like you today? Well first, the teacher should have a copy of the note sheet for the White Balance lesson. Please watch the video, fill in the notes and then turn in the note sheet to receive credit for doing it. That shouldn't take too long! There are a handful of you that still need to complete the Film Strip Collage which is due today. Start there if you haven't completed it yet. Then there's both of the spot exposure corrections from yesterday... Burn and Dodge. Today I have two global touch ups for you to fix exposure. They are linked below. Remember to use your photos for this! As always, we talk about how to do things in camera... use aperture to change the depth of field, but what if you want to change the depth after you have take the shot? I got ya! There is an assignment linked below for adding lens blur in Photoshop. Just choose one of your shots that has a large depth of field. If you have all of that done, you could work on the thumbnails for the calendar like we talked about yesterday.      - Wash out the screen with a cone spray of water
     - Patch Pinholes
     - Block out the screen
     - Cut paper to print on*

    Antiqued Photo
     - Download the frame & add the photo to it
     - Add a glass overlay on top of the portrait
     - Create a wallpaper
     - Add the portrait to the wallpaper
     - Apply a drop shadow to the frame
     - Make a vignette to emulate a spotlight on the picture
     - Save as a PNG & PSD, turn in PNG
    Cropping
     - Open one of your photos in Photoshop
     - Choose the crop tool & set it to a 3:1 aspect ratio, position & commit
     - Save as a PNG, upload the PNG to Schoology
    Film Strip Collage
     - Choose 6 photos for the film strip, one for the background photo
     - Crop each of the strip photo so they are are all the same aspect ratio
     - Crop the background photo to 8 x 10
     - Build the photo strip in Bridge
     - Add the strip to the background photo
     - Create the film
     - Make the film wave
     - Save as a PNG & PSD
     - Upload the PNG to Schoology

     - Grab a sheet of paper & fold in half twice
     - Draw a design in each square using the same theme
     - Choose the best design & make a rough
     - Vector the image in it’s own Ai file
     - Layout a comprehensive using the rough template from Ai
     - Make a 4-Up
     - Print a proof sheet
     - Choose 25 sheets of paper
     - Place the paper in tray 1 of printer, tell others NOT to print
     - Send the job to the 419-C1 printer
     - Collect & jog prints

     - Cut cardboard (mat board) for backing
