Periods 3 & 4
Good morning gamers, hope you're Friday is off to a great start! As I have been telling you, I am on a field trip with Mr. Forry. I know that it's Friday, one week until Christmas break, and you may feel like taking is easy today, but I really hope you don't. Yes, I know, I sound like the Grinch, but one week isn't a lot of time, especially when we are talking about making an entire game. Please take advantage of the fact that I'm not there to give a lesson. You have the entire period to grind away on making sprites (64px x 64px) for 5 ghosts, a hero, wall, and food. One of these items has to be animated, typically the hero, but it could be any of these. Once they are made and exported as a PNG, you can move into programming the game. If you would rather use the digital handout on a second screen while building your game than dig out the packet that I gave you, you can find the digital version here. If your still making your animation, videos for it are here. Don't forget that this animation is due today by 11:59! Hope all goes well for today and that you have an excellent last weekend before break!

Period 5
Good afternoon creative geeks! Hope you're having an amazing Friday. Today is simply a work day for you all. Work on that 3 color screen or 3D project if it is not yet done. I know you are all incredibly self sufficient and will be fine without me! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Periods 3 & 4
Good morning Gamers. Happy Friday! Hope it's off to a fantastic start. As promised, I am on a field trip to Millersville University today. This means no new lessons for you, but there is the Game Basics quiz that we have been preparing for. You will find the quiz on Schoology. Remember, no phones or opening other tabs during the quiz or it'll be assumed that you're attempting to cheat. After the quiz the rest of the class time is yours to work on your class projects. Maybe you still need to complete Breakout or put the finishing touches on the Pacman animation from yesterday. Period 3 can start by using the packet or the video. If these are done, that's great! You can move on to Pacman. Choose a theme, make sprites for the 5 ghost, food, wall and hero and then start programing it. This game is due before break so even though it's Friday and you may want to take it easy, don't sleep on it, you'll need the time later! Hope you have a great day and an even better weekend!
