Periods 1 & 5
Happy Friday everyone! Hope it's off to a great start so far. For today I have another touch up, smart cast. With this, the idea is to tan the skin of the subject. Don't tan the background or clothes, then it will just apply a color cast to the entire photo. I'm just giving you this one assignment to do because you also have to turn in this weeks photos and make a proof sheet too.
Speaking of photos, this weeks assignment (due next Friday) is to take 10 pictures using repetition. Do a google search for repetition in photography and you'll see that there are examples with repeating patterns, lines, etc. Try not to take pictures of just patterned materials but things like repeating fence posts, trees in a row, etc. I'll be back Monday and can offer more clarification if you need it. **Update: I just read my email from Miss Collier and I'm disappointed to hear that many of you have been spending a lot of time on your phones. I don't care if you set up your music, or are on it when you have competed all of your work. If you haven't, my expectation is that you are not on your phone. Please use the time that you have wisely because when I return we are going to step up the pace and move on!**
