Ill Dog
- Download the Illustrator Dog starting file from TechGeek.Pro
- Follow the directions on the handout to create the dog
- Remember, the better the match the better the grade
- Use only shapes to create the file
- Test the match by toggling layers
- When satisfied, save the file, upload to Schoology
Screen Print
- Choose a design for screen printing
- Get the image approved
- Vector the image
- Convert the vector to black & white
- Send the file to me as an email attachment
- Obtain & degrease a screen
- Coat the screen
- Line up positives, tape together with clear tape
- Cut paper to print on
- Make a mat
- Expose screen
- Wash out screen
- Patch pinholes
- Block out screen
- Print the image
- Clean screen
- Reclaim the fabric
- Choose best prints
- Add best print to previously cut mat
- Paperclip 2 good prints, rubric and matted
- Turn in the project to the tan bin

- Visit TechGeek.pro to download GameMaker Lite
- Install the software
- Launch GameMaker & follow the tutorial to build the Fruit Game
- Save the game
- Upload the GM81 file to Schoology
Practice Vector
- Launch Ai
- Place the logo
- Create a new layer, lock the first
- Change the fill to none, stroke to bright color
- Zoom in (Ctrl +) on the inner ear
- Draw the three lines to make the shape
- Select and color the inner ear
- Draw the white silhouette of the head
- Color it and send it to the back
- Draw the blue oval with cutout
- Color the shape
- Draw the final white outer oval & color it
- Upload the final image to Schoology

Logo
- Choose a name or symbol to represent you as a photographer
- Draw 4 thumbnails
- Develop a full size rough
- Color the rough with colored pencils
- Scan the rough into the computer using the end computer & scanner
- Launch Ai and make a new document
- Place the scanned logo into the file
- Lock layer 1, create a second layer
- Vector the layer piece by piece completing each shape individually
- Color each shape and save it
- Upload the final Ai file to Schoology
Tips Book
- Choose your 8 most important tips for beginning photographers
- Define each tip, decide how you can show this in example
- Take photos to use as a with/without scenario
- Sketch designs (thumbnails) for your layout
- Draw a rough for your layout
- Create an A-Master in InDesign
- Crop & Resize your photos
- Add text and photos to each page
- Make the cover as the lesson calls for
- Proof your book by exporting as a PNG, using Bridge
- Adjust as necessary from the proof
