So the thing about taking care of your sick daughter is that it's easy to catch what she caught... and that's currently my state. Hopefully I'll be better and back on Friday. Anyway, today you will start the class by taking the Type Quiz. Once that's finished, you can continue to work on the personifying a word project. If you haven't yet done so, draw your four thumbnails, create a rough of your favorite, and then, finally you can create it in Illustrator. We used Illustrator a few times already... Typography, cover page for the Typeface search, but now you will use some other tools in Illustrator as well. I have linked a video below to explain how to do it. Please what it and create your own. Remember, to receive full credit it will take more than just the word! Use some effects, colors, drawings, shapes... like I do in the video. Have a great day!

Periods 3 & 4
So the thing about taking care of your sick daughter is that it's easy to catch what she caught... and that's currently my state. Hopefully I'll be better and back on Friday. So what's up for you for today? A packet of notes and two touchups. I know that notes aren't fun, but they are the quickest way to get information to you. You should be given a packet on buying a camera. Please fill in the notes as you watch. The nice thing about me being out and you watching the video is that you can play is at 1.5 speed to get through it quicker! I do have two new tasks for you to complete afterwards. Applying a vignette to one of your photos (I know it's not really unique to portraits, but it does help to call attention) and then Liquify. The second one you will love! You can really alter someone so much that they are hardly recognizable. Keep in mind though, the goal is to improve them, not make them look like a troll! Have fun with it though and upload your completed results to Schoology. Tomorrow you will have the Rasters vs. Vectors quiz and the perspective photos will be due as well so plan ahead. Hope you have a great day!

So what's up for you for today? I would like you to check out the videos linked below on copyright. The Disney one you don't have to watch in it's entirety, but it's clever and explains copyright in a different way. I have assigned a copyright kahoot for today as well. Just like yesterday, you need to to it before the end of the day (3PM) to get credit for it. The rest of the time is yours to work on the button.
