Good morning! Hope you are warm and cozy at home this morning. Didn't see this coming for today, but I'll take it! So here's the plan for today. I would like you to watch the lesson on Rasters vs. Vectors. It's the same lesson that I would be giving you in class, just with me doing it virtually instead of in person. If you have any questions or need anything I will have a Meet open throughout the class period. You don't have to join me, I'm there if you need me. Tomorrow we will continue on with our practice vector. Hope you have a great day!

Good morning everyone. Hope your morning is going well so far. I'll try not to ruin it! Having completed (or nearly completed) our first vector, I would like you to watch this video on Rasters vs. Vectors. I explained yesterday, very briefly, that the images we make in Ai are vectors. This video will explain what that means and how they are different from the photos that you capture on your phone. There will be a quiz coming next week on these types of images so please watch and try to understand the differences. Those of you that have not finished the practice vector, please complete that today. Tomorrow as a class we will shrink the image down and turn it in. If you need help, or have any questions, I will have a Meet open through the class. You don't have to join the Meet but I encourage you to pop in if you have any questions or need help. Hello there photographers, we will have our Meet as usual today, just a bit early. In class today we will talk about taking a picture of you to add to the photo you found from the web, uploading the photos to Google Drive and then downloading the photo to your laptop. All of these videos can be found on this page of the website. Finally, we will look for an image on Google to use to make a practice selection. This image could be used in the final project but does not have to be. The main goal here is just to just learn to make a selection. I'll see you in the Meet today at 10:30.
