Screen Printing
- Choose a name or image for a company
- Brainstorm and draw 4 thumbnails
- Choose your favorite thumbnail
- Develop that design into a large, clean, colored rough
- Obtain, label, & degrease a screen
- Coat the screen
- Convert the vector to black & white, email to Mr. Tate
- Expose the screen
- Wash out the screen with a cone spray of water
- Patch Pinholes
- Block out the screen
- Cut paper to print on
- Cut out the comprehensive, center it on cut paper, tape in place
- Print the design
- Reblock the screen
- Reclaim the screen
- Mat the best print
- Paperclip thumb, rough, comp, 2 prints, matted & rubric
Illustrator Vector
- Choose an image to trace (hi res, line art)
- Get the image approved
- Create a new layer, lock the first
- Change the fill to none, stroke to bright color
- Draw around and complete each colored shape separately
- Test each completed shape by filling it once complete
- Upload the final image to Schoology

- Obtain and label four sheets of paper
- 5 Roman, 5 Square (page 1)
- 10 Sans Serif (page 2)
- 10 Script (page 3)
- 1 Text, 9 Novelty (page 4)
- Cut out examples and glue them into the correct section
- Print cover page
- Staple all pages together
- Turn in Search to bin

Logo
- Choose a name or image for a company
- Brainstorm and draw 4 thumbnails using that name or image
- Choose your favorite thumbnail
- Develop that design into a large, clean, colored rough
- Scan the rough
- Place the scan into an Ai file, lock layer, create second layer
- Vector your logo with shapes & pen tool
- Add color to the logo
- Save as an Ai file and upload the image w/thumb, rough to Schoology
Clone Stamp
- Open a portrait in which the subject has a mole, pimple, birthmark etc.
- Use the clone stamp to cover it
- Upload the before and after to schoology
Dark Circles
- Open a portrait in which the subject has wrinkles or dark circles under their eyes
- Use the patch tool to blend the area
- Upload the before and after to Schoology
Smart Blur
- Open a portrait to soften or “air brush” the skin
- Follow the steps to soft ONLY the skin
- Upload the before and after to Schoology
