Good morning Gamers. Hope your day is going well so far. I won't be there to ruin it for you :) Seriously though, as promised, I am at a training with Mr. Iezzi and Mr. Clemens. While I'm out, you won't have to worry about any new lessons or notes for the day.
You should be done with the Fruit Tutorial and the Penn State logo but if you aren't, please finish this as soon as possible. The Ill Dog would be the next thing to do. Keep in mind that the better it lines up and the more it matches the better your grade will be. To check this, I'd make both layers visible and then flip your version off and back on again. While doing this, watch the difference in the two. The more similar the two are, the better!
When these assignments are all done, your ready to return to the logo. We have discussed planning it. Once you have a concept in mind I told you to draw 4 thumbnails with the same name and image. The thumbnail that you like the best should be developed into a larger, more clean version of the logo on a new sheet of paper. The logo should be colored once it's completely drawn. You'll find colored pencils on the counter top where the tape and scissors are.
Finally, with the colored rough done, it's ready to be scanned. You can log into the desktop at the end of each row. You'll need to log in to Creative Cloud (remember to use enterprise id when asked) and open Photoshop. This video will walk you through the scanning process. Once it's scanned, remember to save the logo to the U Drive or you won't have it when you go back to your laptop.
That's all for today. Hope you have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!
Period 5
Good afternoon Graphics Geeks. Hope your have a fantastic Wednesday. Today I have nothing new for you to do. You can continue to work on your vinyls and if they are done, you can work on the notebook. Start with a theme and then you can begin to vector your design for either the inside or outside of the notebook. I'll be back tomorrow and then we'll make lines for the inside pages of the notebook. Have a great day!
